Grant eLearning Academy

The Grant eLearning Academy is an online training resource where heating professionals can complete product courses, including on-demand heat pump training, and develop their industry knowledge.

Training to suit you

The Grant eLearning Academy features a catalogue of courses which vary in both content and form, allowing heating engineers and other industry professionals to choose and complete the training which best suits their requirements.

On-demand courses are available which allow candidates to work through the content at a time and place which suits them. These on-demand courses include express eLearning content as well as more in-depth online product training.

In addition, the eLearning Academy is also a platform for other useful resources, with a variety of supporting news articles and guides available to view, helping heating professionals to further their learning beyond the classroom.

How to sign up

Access to the eLearning Academy is via login so installers, engineers and other industry professionals wishing to enrol will first need to sign up before they can view available courses. To sign up, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit www.grantelearning.com and select 'Sign Up'
  2. Enter your 'Enrolment Key' - installers and engineers should use the enrolment key GUKWEB0820, merchants should use the enrolment key GMERCH1120 and architects, specifiers and mechanical and electrical consultants should use the enrolment key GUKSPEC21
  3. Complete your account set up with entering your contact details and setting your password.

Once you have logged into the eLearning Academy, you can enrol onto courses via the Course Catalogue.

On-demand courses

The on-demand courses include free introductory modules as well as chargeable, more in-depth product training courses. The on-demand introductory modules are less than thirty minutes in length and the courses can be started, paused and resumed at anytime. These concise courses cover a range of topics from product overviews through to legislation updates.

The chargeable on-demand courses are online modules which are equivalent to the face-to-face courses delivered at one of Grant UK’s Training Centres. These courses feature a high level of detail and contain between 1-2days worth of learning hours. For installers who complete either of the chargeable Aerona³ Air Source Heat Pump Advanced Installer or Installer on-demand courses, they will be eligible to apply for G1 accreditation for Grant heat pumps.

What is the enrolment key that is asked for during sign-up?

During the sign-up process, you will be prompted to enter an enrolment key which is a unique code. You will need this to hand when creating your account so please use enrolment key GUKWEB0820 (installers), GMERCH1120 (merchants) or GUKSPEC21 (specifiers & architects). 

Is the eLearning Academy aimed at heating professionals of all abilities and level of experience?

The eLearning Academy is open to heating engineers, installers and other professionals within the heating sector of all abilities. The courses vary in content so candidates can enrol onto and complete the training which best suits their requirements.

What are the software requirements to participate in the courses offered on the Grant elearning Academy?

In order to participate in the online courses, candidates will need access to a computer or tablet with an internet connection. High speed broadband or sufficient 4G/5G mobile broadband is highly recommended for an optimal learning experience. Working speakers or headphones are also required as the courses have audio. 

 

What topics are covered by the Grant eLearning Academy?

Renewable product training, from air source heat pumps and hybrids through to cylinders and heat emitters, are available on the eLearning Academy, covering topics from system design and product sizing through to heat emitter sizing and much more. Industry topics are also available including Building Regulations and HVO biofuels. Grant UK’s Training Team continuously add to the content on the eLearning Academy so candidates can return to the platform at any time to refresh their learning or expand it further into new areas.
