This allows us to offer a wide range of training courses – including Grant product training courses such as air source heat pump training, oil boiler training, and solar thermal training, OFTEC training and assessment and ERS training, assessment and qualification courses.
In addition to the facilities, the Grant trainers have a wealth of experience and technical knowledge of oil fired domestic boilers, air source heat pumps, renewable technologies, heating systems and installation practice. This combination has resulted in the Grant UK Training Academy winning a number of awards over the years, including Training Centre of the Year on several occasions.
The knowledge and skills you will gain through our training programmes will allow you to confidently install and maintain Grant heating products, ensuring that your customer is both happy and satisfied with their heating system.

Regional Training
For those unable to attend the Training Academy in Swindon, Grant UK can organise and deliver ‘off-site’ training courses for installers and commissioning/service technicians.
Off-site product training courses and sessions are delivered by Grant UK instructors and are usually arranged in conjunction with local Grant stockists, fuel suppliers, heating contractors, or other technical colleges or training centres. In addition, installers, merchants, specifiers and architects can complete online training via the Grant eLearning Academy.

GTEC Training Centre
Grant UK joined forces with GTEC Training in 2012 at its purpose built Building Services Technology Centre in Hawes, North Yorkshire. As a result of this strategic partnership, Grant product training courses are available at this centre making them more accessible for installers living in the Northern part of the UK.
The GTEC Centre allows Grant UK to offer a full suite of product training courses. This includes all oil boiler and burners courses, all renewable product training courses and the underfloor heating course.

Livingston Centre
Grant product training courses are available at the Grant Centre in Livingston, West Lothian. A range of fully operational Grant products are installed at the centre including Vortex oil boilers, Aerona³ R32 air source heat pumps, a VortexAir oil boiler/ASHP hybrid, a solar thermal training roof, as well as a Uflex MINI underfloor heating system.
A wide selection of Grant product courses can be delivered by Grant UK's Trainers at this centre including oil boiler and burner courses and the two-day air source heat pump training course.

If you are interested in becoming a heat pump installer, a good place to start is by completing manufacturer product training to learn more about heat pumps, how they work and their core specifications. The Grant UK Training Academy delivers air source heat pump training for heating engineers with this course available at our centres throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
