Grant UK is a member of RIBA's CPD Providers Network, offering RIBA approved seminars to architects and specifiers on air source heat pumps.
RIBA Chartered Architects must achieve a certain level of Continued Performance Development (CPD) in order to remain a member. Grant UK’s CPD Seminars are RIBA approved and therefore contribute towards the requirements that chartered members must meet each year to maintain their competence. Each seminar is 1 hour and can be carried out in lunch breaks or in allocated bookings, and will form part of the minimum 35 hours of CPD training required per year.
Over 500 manufacturers and other organisations form RIBA’s CPD Providers Network. These companies are registered to provide RIBA-approved CPD material to architects, specifiers and consultants. The material can vary in format, from videos and books through to conferences and factory tours. Grant UK has produced a free of charge seminar which focuses on air source heat pumps, providing general awareness information for the attendees. The seminar has been rigorously assessed by RIBA and is consequently worth double CPD points to RIBA Chartered Architects.
The RIBA CPD seminar offered by Grant UK, which is available at venues throughout England, Scotland and Wales, provides an introduction to how an air source heat pump works before delving into greater detail about specification and installation. The seminar is designed to provide an overview on this renewable technology, including an insight into regulations and standards, so that attendees understand the correct operation of heat pumps.
Grant’s Air Source Heat Pump CPD seminar is also available online via the Grant eLearning Academy. Like the seminar, Grant’s online CPD heat pump course is RIBA approved. This online seminar has also gained accreditation from the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) enabling it to count towards their member’s annual CPD hours.
To access this online CPD training, please visit www.grantelearning.com, sign-up with the enrolment key GUKSPEC21 and create an account. Once an account is successfully set up, users can enrol onto the CPD on-demand course and any of the other online training courses available.
In addition to providing CPD training for this technology, Grant UK’s Aerona³ inverter driven air source heat pumps and other product ranges are also RIBA endorsed and available to view via their online Product Selector.
