This LCL course is intended for qualified plumbers who are either looking to improve their knowledge of the Water Regulations 1999 or who wish to join their local authority Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme, one of the plumbing Competent Persons schemes, or the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
The training includes interpretation and definitions, material and substances, requirements, design and installation, backflow and contamination prevention, hot and cold water services, flushing devices and sanitary appliances.
The course includes a comprehensive guide to the Regulations and a workbook. The WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) certificate is awarded following successful completion of a written (multiple choice) assessment.
Pre-requisites: candidates should have a minimum of two years plumbing experience.
