The Grant Aerona Smart Heat Pump System Controller can be configured to allow remote access and operation of the controller via the internet when connected to the Aerona Smart Wi-Fi Hub (pictured below).
Once connected, installers can monitor the operation of the Aerona Smart Controller and connected heat pump, modify some of the heat pump and system parameters, as well as remotely accessing diagnostic information on the system, using the supporting ecoNet app and dedicated web-browser via a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
To set up the Aerona Smart Wi-Fi Hub and connect it to the controller, installers can do so with ease via the Aerona Smart Controller touchscreen display.
Heat pump installers should refer to the Aerona Smart Heat Pump Controller manual for set-up assistance and guidance about installing the Aerona Smart WiFi Hub, connecting its power and connecting the ecoLINK cables between the Wi-Fi Hub and Wiring Centre.
The Aerona Smart Wi-Fi Hub can be set up in one of two ways:
• Using the ecoNET configuration wizard (for Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections) – this can be accessed via the system configuration tool when first powering on and setting up the Aerona Smart Controller or at anytime via the ‘User Settings’ menu on the controller’s touchscreen display
• Manual configuration (for Wi-Fi connections only) – this can be accessed via the ‘User Settings’ menu on the controller’s touchscreen display, once the controller has been set-up.
To use the ecoNET configuration wizard to set up the WiFi Hub, select the ‘Settings’ icon in the bottom left-hand menu on the controller’s touchscreen display.
Next, select ‘User Settings’ and then tap the ‘radio’ icon to the left of the screen. Then select ‘ecoNET configuration wizard’ before tapping the ‘forward’ button. You will now be in the configuration wizard. Tap the right arrow to confirm that all of the cables are correctly connected – the touchscreen display will show if the hub has successfully linked to the controller.
You will then need to select your preferred connection method using either Ethernet or Wi-Fi:
• Ethernet – where there is a cable connection between the router and hub
• Wi-Fi – where there is a wireless connection between the router and hub
If an Ethernet connection is being used:
If a Wi-Fi connection is being used:
