The heat pump parameters menu gives installers access to the following:

  • Read only real-time values – including system status, primary flow and return temperatures, PWM feedback, water flow rate, compressor frequency, total power in, heating power out, total heating time, heating capacity, COP and more.
  • Heat pump set points – including DHW set temperature, heating set temperatures for different zones, and room set temperature.
  • Domestic Hot Water (DHW) – including DHW production type, maximum time for DHW, and minimum time for heating.
  • Heat pump settings – including heat pump set points, zone control, DHW control, and controller type.
  • Water pump settings – including heat pump water pump and external pump control.
  • Frost protection – including frost room temperature, frost ambient temperature, frost flow temperature, and frost cylinder temperature.
  • Back-up heater – such as back-up heater function, manual set point, integration time and condition for heater.
  • Relay output settings – such as 3-way mixing valve, flow switch, night mode, modbus and more.

For a detailed list of the parameter settings, please refer to the Aerona Smart Heat Pump Controller manual. Please note, some parameters and settings are specific to the heat pump model installed so please refer to the Aerona 290 manual or Aerona³ R32 manual depending on the type of heat pump installed.
