Water Regulations Training
This ERS course is aimed at persons requiring certification in accordance with the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations, including qualified plumbers who are either looking to improve their knowledge of the Water Regulations or who wish to join their local authority’s Water Industry Approved Contractors Scheme.
Course Overview
The training includes interpretation and definitions, material and substances, requirements, design and installation, backflow and contamination prevention, hot and cold water services, flushing devices and sanitary appliances.
The certificate is awarded following successful completion of a written (multiple choice) assessment.
Please note that this certificate expires five years from the date of assessment at which time the candidate can undertake re-assessment to renew the qualification.
Who Should Attend
Pre-requisites: It is essential that applicants have recognised qualifications and/or a minimum of 12 months experience from any of the following industry sectors: Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation, Gas.
