The Grant Air Source Heat Pump System Design training course is intended for domestic heating and renewables installers who wish to know more about the basics of system design for Grant air source heat pumps.

This course focuses on areas regarding heat pump system design and covers how to carry out heat loss calculations, the steps involved in selecting and sizing heat pumps and emitters, as well as sound level calculations.

The topics outlined above are covered in this heat pump system design course using a mixture of theory and worked examples with a short written assessment at the end of the course.

Please note, this course only covers system design and it does not include training on the installation of Grant Aerona 290 heat pumps, the Aerona³ heat pumps or the Aerona Smart controller as other courses are available which provide training on these products. These heat pumps are covered in either the 1-day Grant Aerona 290 Air Source Heat Pump Installer course (which includes the Aerona Smart heat pump system controller) or the 1-day Grant Aerona³ Air Source Heat Pump Installer course.
