Can I reset the fault code displayed on the heat pump remote controller?

The short answer to this question is no - you (the homeowner) should not reset a fault code on the Aerona Remote Controller. This is because:

  • some fault codes will automatically reset once the fault is fixed
  • some fault codes need to be manually reset and this should only be done by your heat pump installer or service engineer.

If a fault code appears on the screen of your Aerona³ Remote Heat Pump Controller, in most instances, once the fault is fixed and it returns to normal condition, the error code will automatically reset and it will no longer display on the remote controller.

However, if the fault has resulted in the heat pump stopping, it may not be possible to reset the fault code automatically and in these cases, it will need to be reset manually by a heating engineer. You will therefore need to contact your heat pump installer or service engineer for further support.
