Installing a magnetic filter alongside your new central heating system is recommended because it can help prevent the build up of debris in the pipework and provide long-term protection to support the lifespan of your system.
The Grant Mag One DUO is a universal magnetic filter that is designed to give system protection and it can be installed as part of a new heating system installation or it can be retrofitted to an existing installation. Compatible with both traditional fossil fuel boilers as well as air source heat pumps, the Mag One DUO provides innovative protection, protecting system components from damage and consequently it can increase the performance of your heating system. Whether you are having a new Grant Vortex oil boiler installed or fitting an Aerona heat pump or you need a new magnetic filter for your existing heating system, the Mag One DUO filter can provide the protection you need.
Within the pipework of your heating system, debris will be circulating which over time can build up and cause issues. A magnetic filter, such as the Mag One DUO, stops the build up of this non-magnetic and magnetic debris in your system pipework which can preserve and improve the effectiveness of the system for years to come. While it is not mandatory to install a central heating filter, it is strongly recommended and if you are having a new Grant oil boiler, hybrid or air source heat pump system being installed by a G1 Installer, it is a requirement that a suitable magnetic filter is installed in order to activate the longer G1 guarantee on your Grant appliance.
The Grant Mag One DUO magnetic filter is installer-friendly and designed to support the lifespan of your heating system with the following features and benefits:
