What is pluming?
Condensing boilers, such as the Grant Vortex, operate at extremely high efficiency levels, producing cool flue gas temperatures which result in a ‘plume’ of vapour being visible at the flue terminal. This plume (steam) is a normal condition of condensing boiler operation and indicates that the appliance is working efficiently.
Prior to installation, the position of the flue needs to be considered to ensure that the plume does not cause any inconvenience.
