The Technical and Customer Service Departments at Grant UK have increased the hours of support that they are on hand to help customers during the week and at weekends. Both Teams are now available to answer calls and provide support via email from 7.30am every weekday morning through to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 5pm on Fridays. In addition, the Technical Team are now available between 8.30am through to 1pm on Saturdays as well.
Grant UK is pleased to announce the launch of its new online eLearning Academy. Alongside the training delivered at Grant UK’s training centres, this new online eLearning platform will further increase the level of product training support the Company can deliver to installers, heating engineers and other heating professionals.
The Green Homes Grant scheme has been announced by the Government as part of their economic recovery plan following the impacts of the Coronavirus. Installers who attend the Air Source Heat Pump product training course at the Grant UK Training Academy can now claim free set-up assistance for an Aerona³ R32 heat pump.
The Heat Pump Association, along with other representatives within the low carbon heating industry, has published two consultations to discuss the qualification criteria for training courses on low carbon heating systems. Installers are encouraged to feed their thoughts and comments into both consultations, which will remain open until 30th June 2020.
Grant UK’s webinar with InstallerFESTIVAL, about correctly sizing heat emitters when designing heat pump systems, proved to be a hit with plenty of discussion and questions raised by participants. InstallerFESTIVAL, which brought together heating engineers from across the country via a virtual industry gathering, has been a big success and Grant UK is pleased to have been a part of the event.
