Grant UK unveils upgraded TechBox app

The TechBox from Grant UK is an app where heating professionals can download current and archived manuals and technical resources for all Grant products. While the core purpose of the TechBox remains the same, the latest upgrades to the app have been introduced to improve the user experience with new features and functionality designed to make the TechBox app better than ever.

The design of the TechBox has been updated with the introduction of new imagery, icons and colour scheme which give the app a modern feel while also making it more user-friendly. An improved search function allows installers and engineers to search for key terms within a PDF to make finding specific sections within a manual quicker. A new ‘share’ option allows users to share PDFs from the TechBox via email, text and WhatsApp. There is a brand new category which links to Grant UK’s current brochures and price lists to make accessing these pre-installation resources a new option within the app. The categorisation of heat pump technical resources has also been improved with the introduction of additional sub-categories to make displaying schematics and other heat pump resources clearer and easier to follow.

Alongside these new features, the TechBox retains a lot of the existing functions that installers and engineers like. Users can select and download the Grant product categories they need, tailoring the content of their TechBox app to be relevant to them and their business. The app’s navigation remains straightforward to make finding documents easy. Engineers can still mark manuals that they regularly use a ‘Favourite’ so that these PDFs are stored as quick links via the main app navigation. Accessing current and archived materials remains simple with the ‘Current/Archive’ toggle in place within each sub-category. Finally, the TechBox can be used offline so once an engineer has downloaded their preferred product categories, they can access manuals anytime, anywhere even when they have no WiFi or internet connection.
