Grant UK supports FC Chippenham Youth Galaxy Girls grassroots football team

Following the success of its Kick the Carbon Grassroots Community Sustainability Programme, Grant UK is continuing to work closely with local schools and grassroots organisations. Starting this 2026/27 season and extending into the 2027/28 season, Grant UK is sponsoring the Galaxy Girls who are the under 11s girls team at FC Chippenham Youth, based just a few miles from Grant UK’s headquarters in Wiltshire. Through the sponsorship, Grant UK hopes to support the excellent work of FC Chippenham Youth while also encouraging the next generation of female footballers.

FC Chippenham Youth was formed in 1974 and over the last 50 years, it has built a strong community with over 500 members and a number of football teams of all ages. The club promotes the development of football for children in the area surrounding the market-town of Chippenham and prides itself on the positive atmosphere it has created, placing the focus of football on fun and sportsmanship. As well as organising training sessions for their members, FC Chippenham Youth have teams who play in leagues across Wiltshire.

The Galaxy Girls is an all-girls team of children under the age of 11 years old. With each of their players having skills, technique and enthusiasm, the Galaxy Girls team is not only competitive but also an incredibly positive representation of grassroots football. This season will see them compete in the North Wiltshire Football League and Grant UK will be supporting them at every training session and game.
