Grant Engineering was thrilled to be presented with yet another a product award at the recent Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) annual Energy Show at the RDS in Dublin on 30th – 31st March 2011.
The Energy Show featured an array of businesses and products across the sustainable energy sector, from the very latest in intelligent energy management systems to cutting-edge renewable products such as biomass boilers and solar PV.
The awards, held during the show, were welcomed by all 200 exhibitors who each had the chance to submit their best products across four different categories. After a stringent judging by a panel of industry experts, Grant Engineering (Ireland) Ltd was awarded ‘Best Renewable Energy Product’ for their new innovative Spira Condensing Wood Pellet boiler range.
For over three years the Grant Technical Team has been developing these unique self cleaning, easy operation pellet boilers, to complement the existing high efficiency Grant home heating products. The Spira Condensing Wood Pellet Boilers utilises Grant’s award winning patented stainless steel turbulator baffle system, which is featured in Vortex Condensing oil-fired boilers. The units are available in outputs of 6-26kW with an efficiency of 97.4% gross, and 9-36kW with an efficiency of 93.1% gross. They come complete with a 110kg pellet store/hopper, which automatically supplies the Spira with fuel.
