Grant UK has partnered with a local college, joining the Careers Extra Programme of New College Swindon, which is based close to the Company’s Headquarters in Wiltshire. Through this programme, Grant UK hopes to further support the students at the College who have an interest in the plumbing and heating sector.
The Kick the Carbon sustainability campaign, jointly rolled out by Grant UK and Bath Rugby, has been well received by local primary schools. During the Spring, nine schools were visited with hundreds of schoolchildren enjoying the engaging sessions which aimed to educate and raise awareness about the environment.
An old church located in Perthshire has undergone a complete renovation to transform it into a home in the picturesque Highlands. The project involved the installation of a new central heating system which features a HVO compatible Vortex Pro Combi oil boiler, providing the homeowner with an efficient heating system today which is ready to convert to a low carbon liquid fuel in the future.
Grant UK will be returning to InstallerSHOW 2024 on Stand 5C40 at the NEC, Birmingham, which is taking place between 25th-27th June 2024 where they are giving away a heat pump every day. Grant UK has maintained carbon neutral status in line with PAS 2060 for the third year running and continues to be a participant in the United Nations Climate Neutral Now programme. In 2023, Grant UK reduced its scope 1 and 2 emissions by further adapting its day-to-day business operations, demonstrating the Company’s ongoing commitment to operate as sustainably as possible.
A renewable heating system including the installation of two Aerona³ air source heat pumps, a QR hot water cylinder and a low loss header has been specified and installed at a school in Milton Keynes as part of a development project to expand the premises.
Grant UK’s Air Source Heat Pump CPD seminar which is available via their eLearning Academy has gained approval from the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
Grant UK’s Training Academy has added two new face to face courses to its offering with the addition of a Hybrid Solutions course and a course dedicated to the new Aerona Smart Controller and EvoLink Hybrid System Hub, both of which are aimed at heat pump installers.
