Grant UK releases heat pump case study video
The Selman's Family home has been transformed

Grant UK has released a heat pump case study video on its YouTube Channel. The video features the installation of a whole house Grant renewable heating system, following the project from start to finish and interviewing the homeowner and the installing engineer.

The heat pump case study video features a large renovation project of a family home in Wiltshire. The video follows the transformation of the Selman Family’s semi-detached property that initially had three bedrooms and underwent a large extension. A core part of the project was replacing the old heating system and upgrading it to a greener, more efficient alternative.

A Grant Aerona³ 13kW air source heat pump replaced the gas boiler that was previously heating the property and all the existing steel radiators were swapped for a combination of Uflex underfloor heating and Afinia aluminium radiators.

Working closely with the homeowners and their installer, Grant UK provided onsite technical support, system design assistance and ensured the new system was installed to MCS Standards and eligible for the Government’s Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive payments.

“This vlog takes a closer look at a ‘whole house’ renewable heating project, interviewing the homeowners, the installer and Grant UK’s Technical Design Manager who worked together to make this Wiltshire family home more sustainable,” explains Anna Wakefield, Head of Marketing for Grant UK. “It explains how the property is now being kept warm, with significantly lower emissions, a much-reduced carbon footprint and lower fuel bills.”
