Grant UK develop dedicated support hub for new build homeowners

Grant UK has added a new feature to the Customer Support Centre on its website. The New Build Homeowners Support hub is a dedicated area where homeowners who have moved into a new build home can learn more about the Aerona air source heat pump keeping their property warm.

When homeowners get the keys for their new build home, the customer handover from the developer will typically involve a lot of information to take on board. With new build developments making the transition to low carbon heating systems, detailed handover support for  iheat pumpss more important than ever. This is where Grant UK’s New Build Homeowners Support hub steps in, providing tailored customer support for those living in new build properties which are heated by a Grant Aerona air source heat pump.

The principle aim of this new digital resource is to provide homeowners with all the key information they need for their heat pump heating system when they first move into their new home. Split into core sections, Grant UK’s New Build Homeowners Support hub helps consumers to understand how their heat pump works, ensure their product is registered, and it provides extensive online support for living with a Grant heat pump.

The first section focuses on ‘Getting started with your heat pump’. Here, homeowners can view videos and blogs which explain the key differences of a low temperature heat pump compared to a traditional boiler as well as sharing tutorials for using each of Grant’s heat pump controllers. Homeowners can also plan ahead and learn about Grant UK’s ServicePlan for future maintenance support for their heat pump.

The next section within the hub highlights additional resources to help homeowners. There are quick links to the online product registration form to ensure their Grant heat pump is registered and downloads to digital copies of the Grant Heat Pump Handover Guide and Manuals, in case the hard copies have been misplaced. The final section of the hub is for troubleshooting where general post-installation support is available with links to videos, frequently asked questions, and how-to guides.

“A crucial part of any heat pump installation is the customer handover” comments Anna Wakefield, Head of Internal Sales and Marketing at Grant UK. “With new builds however, the installation can be completed several months before the homeowner moves in, so the installer is not always available when the handover takes place. Our dedicated New Build Homeowners Support hub will help bridge this gap, providing developers and their homeowners with a comprehensive digital toolkit to assist with the handover process for their new Grant heat pump system.”
