While the attention of many was focused on the action unfolding on the football pitches in France and tennis courts in Wimbledon, Grant UK were celebrating a momentous landmark – 20 years of trading in the UK.

On the 2nd July, Grant UK’s staff were welcomed to Farleigh House, the beautiful home of Bath Rugby Club, to enjoy a summer party to mark this special occasion. With the backdrop of an Alice In Wonderland theme, everyone had a fabulous time enjoying drinks in the garden before tucking into a gourmet BBQ and finishing the evening on the dancefloor.

Grant UK was established in 1996 and over the past two decades, the company has gone from strength to strength, leading the way with product innovation and being the Number 1 oil boiler manufacturer in the UK (source: SBGI).

Grant UK initially started in Salisbury, Wiltshire selling a range of highly efficient oil-fired boilers, namely the Euroflame and Multi-pass ranges. A number of years later in 2002, the Company announced their first high efficiency condensing oil boiler to the UK market. The Grant Vortex patented technology is trusted by engineers and the series of awards that these boilers have won speak for themselves.

Grant UK then entered the renewables arena in 2007 and its range of products now includes air source heat pumps, condensing biomass boilers and solar thermal systems as well as hot water cylinders and thermal stores.

Grant UK’s parent company, Grant Engineering in Ireland, have over forty years of experience in the heating industry and this is reflected in the range of innovative products that Grant have in their portfolio.

Most recently, the Grant VortexBlue oil-fired boiler was launched which incorporates the latest low NOx burner technology. Furthermore, the new Grant VortexAir hybrid, which will be available this summer, allows installers and homeowners to benefit from the best of both worlds by combining a VortexBlue oil boiler with the Aerona³ inverter driven air source heat pump.

Grant UK wants to thank all of the staff who have made its achievements possible over the past twenty years. From the Training Academy through to the Sales Teams in the office and on the road, from the Technical and Servicing Department through to the members of staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes, Grant UK’s employees underpin its success.

Paul Wakefield, Grant UK’s Managing Director, thanked all those involved with Grant UK and huge appreciation was shown from the staff to Paul when he made his speech. Grant’s founder, Stephen Grant, and Niall Fay, Grant’s Operation’s Manager and Director, also attended the anniversary party. Stephen founded the Company from his garage in Ireland in the 70’s and thanks to his hands on experience, extensive knowledge and dedication to manufacturing the most efficient, easy to install appliances, Grant products have become first choice for many installers today.

The anniversary party was a fantastic event and it was apt that the celebrations took place at Farleigh House because Grant UK is thrilled to confirm that they will be continuing as a Business Partner of Bath Rugby for the new 2016-17 season. In addition to this, Grant UK will also be a new shirt sponsor.

Here’s to another great twenty years for Grant – the heat is on!
