Paul Wakefield

Paul has been involved in the heating industry all of his professional life, starting on the trade counter for a National Builders Merchant from the age of seventeen then specialising in heating sales and design. Paul furthered his career over subsequent years working for two of the largest UK Boiler Manufacturers in various field sales capacities until aged 39 he started a green field UK subsidiary for Irish based Grant Engineering.

Founded in 1996, Grant UK was initially based in Salisbury but grew rapidly and relocated to Devizes, Wiltshire in 2003, and later expanded to larger premises in Swindon where the Company has been based since 2022. Today, Paul heads up a team of over 140 members of staff covering the Sales, Marketing, Training and Technical operations concentrating on both the Company’s award winning oil boilers and a growing range of renewable heating technologies including air source heat pumps, hybrid technologies and supporting package heating solutions.
