Ian Lawley

Ian has been involved in the plumbing and heating industry throughout his career which spans over three decades. Ian started as a self-employed plumbing and heating engineer before becoming a Sales Engineer for a plumbing, heating and underfloor heating distribution company. Ian has also worked for manufacturers in the heating sector in Sales Manager roles which involved working with merchants, local authorities, developers and contractors, supporting them with the supply of heating systems. For ten years, Ian worked for a heating controls manufacturer, focusing on specification selling, delivering technical product training and working closely with both national and regional developers.

In December 2024, Ian joined Grant UK’s Sales Team and provides specialised sales support for air source heat pumps to those working in the new build and social housing sector, helping these properties to transition to low carbon heating systems.
