Proposed changes to biomass fuel purchase in 2015

The Government are planning to bring in a new sustainability criteria for installations utilising biomass fuels under the Non-Domestic RHI. From spring 2015, existing and new participants must use sustainable fuels to continue to receive RHI payments.
Using sustainable fuel bought through the Biomass Suppliers’ List, is the easiest way to meet the new criteria.  This list details approved suppliers who sell wood fuels that meet RHI sustainability criteria. It features a search by post code feature, enabling users to find suppliers in their local area.
