OFTEC presents Grant with three prestigious Awards for Excellence

Members of the Grant UK Team attending the recent OFTEC Awards for Excellence were elated to be presented with three trophies for their contribution to the industry. The evening, held at Manchester Central in October, included a Gala Dinner with special guest speaker, comedian Rich Hall of BBC’s Mock the Week.

Outshining the competition, the Grant Training Academy received their seventh coveted ‘Training Centre of the Year’ award since it opened in 2003.  This recognised the Team’s hard work and dedication to training engineers across the country.

The Grant CombiSOL stole the show in the category of ‘Innovative Product of the Year 2012’.  This clever little device has been designed to simply and cost effectively, combine mains pressure combination boilers with solar thermal systems and can be used with new or existing installations.

The third and final award was given for Grant UK’s carbon neutral website:  www.grantuk.com, being labeled ‘Best Website 2012’. With the help of Liverpool based company, Mayfly Internet Marketing, it was completely rebuilt last year to offer customers greater ease of use and more information at the touch of a button. One of the most recent updates includes a Biomass RHI calculator, which has been designed to assist property owners in exploring the financial and carbon benefits of installing a wood pellet boiler, opposed to a fossil fuel alternative in non-domestic premises.

Anna Wakefield, Marketing Manager for Grant UK commented: “We are still coming down from the high of recieving three awards! This level of industry recognition for our products and services, really instills customer confidence in the brand.  The Grant label is a guarantee of reliability, quality and value. We put our customers first and our independence ensures that we can monitor our standards and processes to deliver the very best quality and service. It goes without saying that praise is definitely due to all the staff of Grant UK for their continued hard work and dedication.”
