Grant VortexBlue takes home gold!

The Grant VortexBlue condensing oil-fired boiler range has been awarded the Most Innovative New Product of 2016 at the annual Wolseley Conference held this month.

wolseley-award-2016-vortexblue-2Wolseley hosted their 41st Annual Supplier Event at Oulton Hall near Leeds where company directors from throughout the heating industry were invited to celebrate the successes from the past twelvemonths. Presenting the award for Most Innovative New Product was Wolseley’s Managing Director, Patrick Headon, who was joined on stage by well-known England International Rugby player, Matt Dawson.

Grant UK’s Managing Director, Paul Wakefield, attended the conference and collected the award. Paul said, “It is very rewarding to have the Grant VortexBlue recognised by this award for its innovative technology. Incorporating the latest clean burning blue flame burner with the award-winning, patented Vortex oil boiler, the VortexBlue is the result of over two years of collaborative product development between Grant and Riello’s R&D Teams.”

The Grant VortexBlue was launched in March this year and the range consists of fifteen boilers with outputs from 15kW-36kW. With internal, external, combi and system models available, the VortexBlue delivers extremely high efficiency levels with the all-important low NOx emissions. Furthermore, the VortexBlue is available with an industry leading 10 year guarantee when it is installed by a member of Grant’s G-One Accredited Installer Network (subject to Terms & Conditions).

Paul continues, “The 10 year guarantee available on the Grant VortexBlue boiler reflects our confidence in this product. Installer feedback from the field has been incredibly positive and this award from the Wolseley Conference further acknowledges the exciting potential that this new technology offers.”
