Grant SpiraVAC to be launched at Ecobuild 2013

When fitting a biomass boiler, it comes as no surprise that a large area is required for both the appliance and storage of wood pellet fuel.  Not all properties have the luxury of space and moving these pellets from an external store to the internal boiler, can prove very challenging.  Usually this is carried out by a feed auger (a long tube with a rotating helical shaft that winds pellets from one end to the other), but there may be situations where it is unsuitable, for example retrofit installations needing to site an external store further away from the boiler than desired.

Grant UK will be launching their solution to this conundrum at Ecobuild in March.  The SpiraVAC is a wood pellet vacuum system that quickly and conveniently moves pellets from a Grant external store to the Spira boiler without the need for an auger.  The fully integrated vacuum is capable of pulling pellets around obstacles at distances of up to 20 metres, allowing maximum flexibility when designing the heating system.

Visit Grant UK’s stand N2950, for your opportunity to see the SpiraVAC in action.

The show is being held at ExCeL, London and will be open from Tuesday 5th March – Thursday 7th March 2013.
