Vacancy- Trainer/ Assessor

A vacancy has arisen within the Training department of Grant UK.

Reporting to the Training Manager, the successful candidate will provide training to heating/ renewable installers and service technicians on Grant products (including oil-fired boilers, air source heat pumps, wood pellet boilers, cylinders and solar thermal systems) as well as training and assessment for OFTEC and Logic qualifications.

Ideally OFTEC registered or with a background in domestic oil heating installations, candidates should have experience in domestic heating system design and installation.

Knowledge of relevant current legislation regarding heating and hot water systems is essential and experience of energy efficiency and renewable technologies (ASHP, Solar thermal and Biomass) would be an advantage.

Candidates should ideally have experience in conducting written and practical assessments and hold A1 Assessors award (or equivalent)

Whilst based at Devizes, this role will involve travel within the UK to conduct training at  a number of off-site locations on a regular basis.
