MCS made even easier with Grant

The Grant Training Academy is now offering the very latest ‘MCS Made Easy’ course delivered by ECA.  Featuring the new streamlined approach to MCS certification, offered by ECA Certification (Elecsa) specifically designed for smaller installation companies, to help simplify their enrolment process.

Available at the Academy in Devizes and other ECA venues across the UK, the one-day course will take Installers through the MCS Installation Quality Control requirements that must be complied with in order to pass the “Office” or “Business” part of the MCS Assessment.

The streamlined method is only available to those who are seeking MCS certification with ECA Certification.  Installers will be given a Grant/ECA MCS Quality Management manual that covers all the MCS requirements.  Each section will be explained, enabling them to edit their copy of the manual to suit their own particular business.

In order to comply with the MCS001 Scheme requirements and become MCS certificated, installers must be members of the REAL Assurance Scheme.  Further details of the scheme can be found at www.realassurance.org.uk

The Grant approach to training is to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Training Team possess both a wealth of practical technical knowledge of renewable heating equipment and installation practice coupled with over 40 years experience in providing technical training in the domestic heating field.

The purpose built Academy has state of the art facilities, including two air-conditioned lecture theatres, an extensive oil boiler training workshop and a renewables training and assessment workshop complete with a full size training roof, working solar thermal, solar PV, air source heat pump and thermal store installations, solar thermal and PV training/assessment rigs and unvented hot water training and assessment rigs.
