GRANT TRAINING ACADEMY

Established following the move to their current location at Devizes in December 2002, the OFTEC Award Winning Grant Training Academy clearly indicates the commitment of Grant UK to providing professional training for oil technicians.

The purpose-built Training Academy now incorporates two air–conditioned lecture rooms, oil-fired product training laboratory and refreshment area.

The training workshop, constructed to the requirements of both OFTEC and the Certification Body ERS, allow Grant UK to offer oil technicians training and assessments for OFTEC Registration as well as a full range of Grant product training courses covering all aspects of installation, commissioning, servicing and faultfinding.

In addition to these facilities, the Grant training personnel have both a wealth of practical technical knowledge of oil heating equipment and installation practice coupled with almost 20 years experience in providing technical training in the domestic heating field. This blend of detailed technical knowledge and professional training expertise allows Grant to offer oil heating technicians the best possible balance of the practical and theory to not only assist them in achieving their OFTEC registration but also to fully appreciate the importance of correctly installing, commissioning and servicing oil fired boilers.

LOCAL TRAINING

Grant UK also organise and run ‘off-site’ training courses for installers and commissioning/service technicians - where it is impractical for them to travel to the Grant training Centre at Devizes.

These courses include a 2-day OFTEC 105E/600A training/assessment course as well as 1-day ‘free of charge’ product training sessions.

Off-site courses are usually arranged in conjunction with local Grant stockists, Merchants, fuel suppliers, heating contractors, technical colleges or training Centres and are conducted by one of our team of OFTEC registered instructors.
